* When adjusting time avoid moving the hands of the longcase clock rearwards by more than a few minutes. Do not under any circumstances run the clock hands towards the back beyond the number twelve.
It is ok to move the clock hands forward. When shifting across the mid night mark wait until your longcase clock has completed sounding the hour chime before going on.
* If the clock runs too slow decrease or increase the linear dimensions of the pendulum.
Increment the length to cut back on the speed. Reduce the pendulum length to make the clock go faster.
