* Pendulum clocks should always be placed on a level ground or surface. This is simple but it of great importance.

It is alright to run the clock hands forward. When running them over the mid day mark hold back until the grandfather clock has finished striking the bell at the hour mark before moving on.
* If your clock runs too slow or too fast modify the length of the pendulum.
Add to the pendulums length to reduce the speed of the clock. Reduce the pendulum length to to make the clock go more quickly.
