* A pendulum clock work fine only if they are set up on a level surface. This sounds basic but it is vitally important.
When placing it flush against the wall you may discover that the surfacing or carpet is not evenly thick. Or it may be that the flooring lacks uniformity near the wall.
If the case tends to lean towards one direction it is important to correct it.

You can safely shift the hands of the clock forward. When running them past the twelve o clock mark hold on until the clock is through with sounding the hour before carrying on.
* If the clock gets behind or pulls ahead of time change the length of the pendulum arrangement.
Add to the length to lessen the speed of the clock. Do the opposite to have the clock pick up pace.
