If the clock makes an uneven sound it could be because the clock leans away from vertical. Try out different positions and readjust as required.
* When you set the time avoid shifting your clocks hands back further than just a few minutes. Dont ever run them backwards across the mid night mark.
It is fine to run the hands of the clock forward. When shifting across the number twelve wait till your clock is done with striking the bell at the hour mark before you go on.
* If the clock runs too fast or too slow change the length of the pendulum arrangement.
Add to its length to slow down the clock. Reduce the pendulum length to to accelerate the clock.
